New York Congressman Peter King, a potential 2016 Republican Presidential candidate is planning on announcing his own Political Action Committee called “American Leadership Now." Congressman King will announce the PAC tomorrow during a stop in the New Hampshire. Former Arkansas Governor, 2008 Republican Presidential candidate and Fox News Channel host Mike Huckabee said he is considering a run for President in 2016. In 2008 Mike Huckabee won the Iowa caucus, but eventually went on to lose the nomination to Senator John McCain. In 2012, Mike Huckabee did not seek the Republican nomination for President. Huckabee also announced that he is giving up his daily radio show, but he will continue his weekend show on Fox News Channel. On December 10, 2013, the 41st President of the United States, George H.W. Bush joined twitter. His first tweet (which is posted below) is in honor of Nelson Mandela. His second tweet which President Bush posted today is a picture of The Blue Angels providing air cover for the GHWB CVN 77. The Polling Company/WomanTrend Election 2014 Arkansas Senatorial Survey:

On December 3, 2013 Reince Priebus the chairman of the Republican Party and Debbie Wasserman-Schultz faced off with each other on CNN Crossfire. You can watch the videos of their debate below. First I just want to say Reince Priebus destroyed Wasserman in this debate. Priebus was right on with all the facts. He stayed calm and cool, which is difficult to do when you have a opponent that does not answer the questions and does not let you speak without making a comment which tends to be not true. He put the facts on the table and Wasserman was unable to rebut any of them. What Wasserman is doing right now is damage control for the Democrats. People are loosing faith with the Democratic Party and Obamacare. Polls are tanking for Obama as well as their chances of keeping the Senate in 2014. Finally to respond to Wasserman last statement about blue states not turning purple or turning red. Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Nevada, Colorado and Iowa were solid blue states in 2008 and in 2012 they were swing states. Which solid 2008 red state was a swing state in 2012? None. In fact Obama won by a smaller margin in 2012 then in 2008. Also Minnesota, and Oregon which are both considered solid Democratic states were almost won by President George W. Bush in 2000 and in 2004 are leaning more and more red. These two states will eventually be very competitive. |
