Barack Obama has been President of the United States for a little over four years. In that time period we have seen what liberal policies do to America. America has seen what happens when you elect an inexperienced two-year Illinois Senator to the most powerful office in the world. On a side note I just want to point out Obama campaigned for the office of President longer than he was a Senator. In fact some of the 2012 GOP candidates campaigned longer than Obama was President. I always question if Obama really inherited a problem. In fact when I look at the nation under Obama’s four years of leadership I see a country that was better off under George W. Bush and not Barack Obama.
First off many people don’t know this about President George W. Bush Presidency. Under his term we had 52 straight months of job growth. Also in the last few years of his term the federal deficit was actually reducing. Many people blame the economic problems we had in 2008 on George Bush but in all actuality that not true. The crash of the economy started because of the housing market. Bill Clinton put in a policy that lowered the income rate at which banks can give out loans to people. The bill was called the Community Reinvestment Act. Andrew Cuomo currently the Governor of New York, was the former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development in the Clinton administration. You can read more about that here. Basically what was going on is banks were giving out loans to people who could not afford them because the government said it was OK. After a few years people were unable to pay for the loan, so they lost their home and it spiraled down from their.
After four years of leadership of Barack Obama it is evident that the country is not better off then what it was four years ago. Every aspect of this economy has gotten worse and this is not the change America wanted. Four years ago was hope and change, we now need help and change.
