Some of your may know that this websites original purpose was to be a Romney/Ryan 2012 support site. Well they lost, so this website was turned into a Republican Party support site. For a while now I grouped all the pages except the main blog page under one page called "Election 2012." This has the 2012 debate videos, the candidate pages, Romney's campaign ads and the 2012 Republican Presidential primary debate videos. To keep up with the time I removed all the campaign video pages and made a external link to Romneys Youtube page, and for now I removed the Republican primary presidential debate video page and linked it to an external site. (I am creating a new page to host that information.) After 16 days of bickering between the Republican party and the Democratic party the can was kicked down the road once again with a bill passing that ended this government shutdown and avoided a government default for now. With the beginning of the shutdown we saw Senator Ted Cruz stand up to the liberals and filibuster the Senate. We saw the GOP provide four different compromise plans to avoid this shut down. The GOP's original proposal was to cut Obamacare and fund the entire government. I think this is a pretty good compromise since majority of Americans are against Obamacare. We know this law will cause all sorts of damage to the American economy, healthcare system and overall to this country. As well as we have a huge deficit and we need to cut a lot more, like over a trillion dollars more. But thats a article for another time. Throughout this shutdown we saw President Obama refusing to compromise and stated that he will not compromise. We saw Harry Reid come out and say that there is no need to compromise and that they wont. The agreement that they made would extend the debt ceiling through February 7, 2014 and keeps the government running until January 15, 2014. You can find out more information about this and which Senators/Representatives voted Yea or Nay for this agreement by clicking HERE. PPP Election 2014 Arkansas Senatorial Survey:
