RGA.org Has The Story:

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, Chairman of the Republican Governors Association (RGA), and Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt, Chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA), sent a letter to President Barack Obama today reiterating the need to withdraw a rule proposed by the Bureau of Land Management that would regulate hydraulic fracturing on federal and Indian lands.

Wall Street Journal Op-Ed By RGA Chairman Bobby Jindal: The End of Birth-Control Politics

Wall Street Journal Article / Taken From RGA.Org

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists announced its support last month for selling oral contraceptives over the counter without a prescription in the United States. I agree with this opinion, which if embraced by the federal government would take contraception out of the political arena.

As a conservative Republican, I believe that we have been stupid to let the Democrats demagogue the contraceptives issue and pretend, during debates about health-care insurance, that Republicans are somehow against birth control. It’s a disingenuous political argument they make.

Republican Governors Association Statement On Virginia Governor Race

12/2/2012

Republican Governors Association:

Republican Governors Association Executive Director Phil Cox issued the following statement in response to Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling’s decision to withdraw from the Virginia governor’s race:

“Bill Bolling is an honorable man who has always put the people of Virginia ahead of his political ambitions. His decision to step aside is a testament to his character and deep concern for the Commonwealth.

Republicans are now positioned to move forward united and focused on electing a results-oriented leader who will make job creation a top priority and build on the strong foundation set by Governor McDonnell.

Ken Cuccinelli is a proven candidate who knows how to win both statewide as well as in Northern Virginia. More importantly, his experience serving the citizens of Virginia as Attorney General will provide a favorable contrast to the extreme partisan record of former DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe.

While Ken has devoted his public life to making sure Virginia is a great place to raise a family and start business, Chairman McAuliffe has spent the last two decades as a Democratic fundraiser showing no interest in Virginia issues until running a losing campaign for governor.

Virginians want a governor they can trust and who is committed to the Commonwealth. Ken Cuccinelli is the only candidate for governor who fits that description.”
