- Joe Biden (Vice President)
- Andrew Cuomo (New York Governor)
- Martin O'Malley (Maryland Governor)
- Brian Schweitzer (Former Montana Governor)
- Mark Warner (Virginia Senator)
When I first see these candidates the first thought that comes to my mind is who the heck are they. Everybody on the list has no name recognition but Joe Biden, and that's only because he is the Vice President. Besides the fact that his campaign won't be taken seriously because he has a record of making crazy comments. If he would run, it would be his third Presidential campaign.
If Hillary does not run Democrats will run into a huge problem, and even if Hillary does win the Democratic nomination, she definitely is not going straight to the White House. She already lost once to a little known Illinois Senator that spent more time campaigning for President than actually serving in the United States Senate. Democrats will have to deal with alot of questions about the situations and policies that were put in place under Obama's Presidency.
On a side note there's one name that comes to mind that would be pushed to run if Hillary does not run. That is 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry. The odds are against it, since no candidate since Richard Nixon ran for President twice after losing in the general election the first time. I do not believe John Kerry will win the Presidency, but he would simple be a keep hope alive candidate for the Democrats.
