The 2012 Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney did an interview with the Washington Post. In that interview Mitt Romney made some interesting comment about Jeb Bush. Below is a quote that Mitt Romney said: “Jeb, to be very honest, I think it’s very hard for you to post up against Hillary Clinton and to separate yourself from the difficulty of the W. years and compare them with the Clinton years," Romney recalled saying to Bush. Its becoming obvious that the establishment of the Republican party wants to drop Jeb Bush and move on and consolidate their support around someone else, perhaps Marco Rubio who's rising as the establishment alternative. John Kasich and Chris Christie also could be establishment alternatives. Below is Donald Trump's first TV campaign ad of the 2016 Presidential election. The ad will be showed in Iowa and New Hampshire. Barry Bennett who was the campaign manger for Ben Carson's 2016 campaign until he quit. Barry Bennett believes that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee endless something "cataclysmic" happens. Barry Bennett says that Donald Trump's large crowds at his rallies shows his deep grassroots support. Bennett says Trump is getting thousands of people at his rallies and other candidates are getting very little people to show up at their events. Barry Bennett says Trumps support has been consistent and really no candidate has been able to get close to Trump in the polls. The source of this information is CNN. The next Republican debate happens on January 14, 2016. It will be hosted by the Fox Business Network. There will be a prime time debate and a undercard debate. The prime time debate will be at 9:00 pm eastern time and the undercard debate will be at 6:00 pm eastern time. The moderators for the prime time debate will be Neil Cavuto and Marie Bartiromo. The moderators for the under card debate will be Trish Regan and Sandra Smith. The following are the requirements a candidate must meet to be on the debate stage in either debate. The debates will factor in both national polls, as well as those based in Iowa and New Hampshire conducted and released prior to Monday, January 11 at 6 p.m. ET. The primetime debate will feature candidates that place in the top six nationally, and place within the top five in Iowa or New Hampshire, while the remaining candidates will be invited to the early debate. Ben Carson's 2016 Presidential campaign just lost two of its top staff members. Ben Carson's now former communications director, Doug Watts, told Business Insider he and Carson's campaign manager Barry Bennett had left the campaign. Meanwhile, The Washington Post's Robert Costa spoke with Bennett, who said his "frustration level has peaked with Dr. Carson's outside advisers." Its been announced that Bob Dees will become the the new campaign chairman. Ed Brookover will be promoted from senior adviser to campaign manager. |
