Since yesterday was the deadline to pay your taxes to the Government, I thought it wold be nice to see the tax plans of Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz. The sections that are posted below are exerts from the candidates websites. Marco Rubio 2016The current tax code taxes too much, taxes unfairly, and conspires with our outmoded welfare system to trap poor families in poverty, rather than facilitate their climb into the middle class. Our reforms seek to simplify the structure and lower rates. How? By consolidating the many existing income tax brackets into two simple brackets—15% and 35%—and eliminating or reforming deductions, especially those that disproportionately benefit the privileged few at everyone else’s expense. Rand Paul 2016
Ted Cruz 2016Senator Ted Cruz has yet to officially release his tax plan. Through interviews and speeches that Cruz has given we have an understanding of what his policies towards taxes would be as President. The section below was taken from Breitbart. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) believes the IRS should be abolished after the institution of a simpler flat tax. Leave a Reply. |
