The Voters First Forum will kick off the 2016 Republican Presidential primary debate season. The event will be held on Monday, August 3, 7 pm eastern time at St. Anselm College. The forum will be showed live on C-SPAN and also showed via live stream. There are a total of 14 candidate that will participate in the event. The candidates that will be participating are: Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, John Kasich, George Pataki, Rand Paul, Rick Perry, Marco Rubio, Rick Santorum, and Scott Walker. Donald Trump will not be participating in this event. An aide for Donald Trump said that Trump was upset with a Union Leader editorial that mocked him for saying that Senator John McCain was not a war hero. Read more on New Hampshire Union Leader. Much of the media believe Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker to be the top 2016 Republican candidates to face Hillary Clinton. Hillary is seen as the Democratic front runner and only candidate with a chance to win the nomination. According to the latest polls conducted by Quinnipiac, Hillary Clinton is loosing support in the key swing states of Colorado, Iowa and Virginia. The polls also show that majority of Americans in these states have an unfavorable opinion of Hillary and majority in these states do not trust her. On a side note, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Scott Walker all lead Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden in these three states.
