Mitt Romney is officially the Republican Party nominee for President of the United States. To get the nomination you need 1144 delegates.  Governor Romney got 1,575 delegates, Senator Santorum got 245. Congressman Paul got 177 delegates, Speaker Gingrich got 138, Congresswoman Bachman and Governor Hunstman both got 1 delegate. *** I had to put Congresswoman Bachman and Governor Hunstman in one column because the program I was using only gave me five columns.

Democrats are making up tons of lies about Governor Mitt Romney's record and what he will do as President. Lets look through the fog and see what Governor Mitt Romney's real plan will be when he becomes President of the United States.

Ohio Senator Rob Portman will play the role of  Obama in debate prep sessions with Governor Mitt Romney. Their first debate prep session is expected to happen in the coming weeks. Senator Portman by many was seen as a possible VP candidate.  He is the chairman of Romney's campaign in Ohio, In 2008 he also played the role of Obama during Senator John McCain's 2008 debate prep. Massachusetts Senator and former 2004 Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry is playing the role of Governor Romney in Obama's debate sessions.

According to new poll released today by Mitchell Research Governor Romney and Obama are tied at 47%. Real Clear Politics Michigan average has Obama up 2 points over Governor Romney. 46.8 for Obama and 44.8 for the Governor.  As shown in the graph below Obama is falling in the polls and Governor Romney is rising.
