Part 7 of Debate. Below is the videos of the 2016 Republican primary Fox Business Debate. The debate is split up in four parts. Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, and Bobby Jindal were the candidates that participated in this debate. Part 1 of Debate. Part 2 of Debate. Part 3 of Debate. Part 4 of Debate.
In what has been an interesting week for Ben Carson, Carson posted a picture on Facebook making fun of the news coverage that he has been receiving from the liberal media especially CNN. Ben Carson has accused the media of trying to take down his candidacy for President by challenging and making inaccurate claims about his past. He accuses the media of trying and failing to find dirt on him which is now forcing the media to having to settle on nonsense issues to try to make him look bad.
In the Facebook picture it says "CNN Breaking News: In the fall of 1962, Ben Carson checked out a library book and returned it two days late." UPDATE: After we made this post, Ben Carson released another Facebook picture where he now took on the reporting of Huntington Post about his campaign for President. In that picture it says, "Breaking News: Latest, In college, Ben Carson threw away a glass bottle in the "paper products only" receptacle."
Some information about Jeb Bush's Super PAC on their tactics to take down Marco Rubio has been released. The Super PAC wants to use millions of dollars on negative campaign ads against Rubio. The Super PAC supposedly has two ads ready to be aired. In one ad they attack Marco Rubio for missing Senate votes, this issues Jeb Bush attacked Rubio on in the last debate and it did not go so well for Jeb Bush. In the second ad, they attack Rubio for being too pro life. In response to this new information that the Rubio campaign received they released a 30 second ad called "Before The Phony Attacl" where they show clips of Jeb Bush praising Marco Rubio. After the liberal lady's on "The View" attacked Carly Fiorina for the look of her face at the last GOP debate, she challenged them to say it to her face. Today she appeared on "The View" where the interview turned into a brawl where the lady's on the show kept trying to interrupt each other to try to insult Fiorina. Unfortunately for the lady's, Fiorina can fight back and held her own proving her point. The first video below is the first part of the interview if that's what you want to call it. Part two. Good news for the Carly Fiorina fans, because of the rule changes for the upcoming debate, Carly will most likely be in the debate. The original rules of the debate were unfair. That original rules put in place by CNN would use an average of national polling from July 16 - September 10 to determine who the top ten candidates on the debate stage would be. This would make it impossible for candidates who surged after the Cleveland debate, such Carly Fiorina to make it to the main debate. Polls taken prior to the first debate should have never been considered in the first place for candidate placement in the upcoming CNN debate. The new CNN debate rules are: The top ten for the debate will still be determined by an average of polls taken from July 16 - September 10. CNN will also look at the average of polls taken after the Cleveland debate, if any candidates make the top ten in the post debate average polls who did not make it in the average of July 16 - September 10 poll average, they will also be added to the debate stage. So based on the two averages, the following candidates are expected as of now to make the debate, the list could potentially change as more polls are released over the next few days: (Please also be aware that the list of candidate below is in no particular order, CNN has not yet released the order for the candidate on the Debate stage)
The second 2016 Republican Presidential primary debate will be held in the Reagan Presidential Library. Nancy Reagan sent invitations out to 16 of the 17 Republican candidates for the debate. The only candidate that was not invited was former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, this is because one of the debate requirements is you must be polling at least 1%. As of right now Gilmore is below 1%. For the debate, the candidates that will be participating will be split up into two debates. One debate will have the top 10 candidates based on an average of recent polls. The debate will include the candidates who meet the minimum polling requirement of 1%. As of right now the candidates who will be participating in each debate is exactly the same as the Fox News debate with the exception of Jim Gilmore. As of right now Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Donald Trump, and Scott Walker will all be in the prime time GOP debate. In the other debate, Carly Fiorina, Lindsey Graham, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki, Rick Perry, and Rick Santorum will all be participating. Of course the candidates who participate in each debate can change because CNN will be using the average of polls from July 16 - September 10. From now until September 10, some candidates may rise up and some may fall and loose their position in the prime time debate. One example of this is many believe Carly Fiorina will make it into the prime time debate because of her strong performance in the Fox News debate and recent polling shows her gaining ground. Rick Perry's Presidential campaign announced that they will no longer pay their staffers in their headquarters in Austin, Texas, as well as pay their staffers in the early primary states of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. This is due to the lack of money the campaign has on hand as well as its fundraising has been very weak. Rick Perry's campaign needs to save the money in order to be able to afford the traveling costs to campaign around the country.
The super PAC supporting Rick Perry's second bid for the Presidency is doing well with fundraising and the amount of cash on hand, but super PAC's are legally not allowed to coordinate with a Presidential campaign. The super PAC did announce that they would take over some efforts with the campaign such as setting up a ground campaign. You can read more about this at the Washington Post. Rick Perry posted the following on Twitter:
Some are saying Rick Perry's Presidential campaign may be coming to an end soon. Once you start loosing your staffers and the money is not coming to the campaign its very hard to continue your campaign for President. A super PAC can only do so much to help a campaign stay afloat.
